The E.S.T.H.E.R. Program
Establishing Spiritual Truths Helps to Encourage Responsibility
In the Bible, the book of Esther tells the story of an ordinary young woman used in a mighty way to change the destiny of an entire nation.  In the fourth chapter, a fearful young Esther sought counsel from a godly person.  She came to realize that the difficult circumstances of her life had placed her in a position to make the difference between life and death for her Jewish people. Her brave actions changed the course of future generations.
Everyday at our Birth Choice offices, young women face decisions that will affect the course of future generations. With godly counsel and spiritual truth, clients may learn that the difficult circumstances in their lives have placed them in a position to now make a difference for their children and their children's children.
The program consists of 18 classes, which include 8 Prenatal/Parenting Classes, followed by 6 Life Choices (sexual health & wellness) Classes, then 4 Childbirth/Breastfeeding Classes.  The classroom setting allows the women to learn and interact with other expectant mothers and form new friendships.
By participating in the E.S.T.H.E.R. Program, clients have the opportunity to earn "Mommy Money".  This "money" may then be used to "purchase" maternity clothes, baby clothes, and other baby items that have been donated.  Upon completion of the classes they will receive the opportunity to receive a very special gift for their little one through the "Celebration of Life"!
The E.S.T.H.E.R. Program is a well-rounded program designed to support each client...
...emotionally through group meetings with peers & a loving, compassionate teacher.
...educationally through parenting, childbirth, sexual health & wellness studies.
...materially through maternity & baby clothing, furniture, diapers, & formula.

...spiritually through Bible study & prayer.
